Date/Time: August 21, 2025 from  01:00 – 02:00 PM ET

Chronic pain and commercial tobacco use while not often discussed are intertwined experiences for many individuals with and without cancer, complicating both treatment outcomes and quality of life. This webinar explores the complex, bidirectional relationship between chronic pain, smoking and cancer care. Experts will discuss how these issues intersect across the cancer continuum, from diagnosis through survivorship, and the unique challenges they present for both patients and providers.

The presentation will discuss the barriers that often hinder effective tobacco treatment in individuals managing both cancer and persistent pain. The session will also offer evidence-informed strategies for integrating tobacco cessation into cancer care, emphasizing a holistic and patient-centered approach to pain management and long-term health.
